easyJet hand luggage rules

  • Both sizes are stated by easyJet as 'including any handles and wheels'.
  • Combined weight limit for hand baggage is 15kg and you must be able to lift and carry the bag yourself.
  • Lap infants get an additional baby changing bag, max 45 x 36 x 20 cm.
  • Also allowed free: umbrella, overcoat, crutches or walking stick, and one standard bag of goods bought at the airport.
  • Musical instruments larger than 30 x 117 x 38 cm cannot go in the cabin unless an extra seat is purchased.
  • easyJet does not publish a fixed online price for the large cabin bag - recorded as variable, not guessed.
  • easyJet publishes a 15 kg limit that applies to the small free bag as well as the large cabin bag (verified 20 September 2026).

Liquids

Liquids, aerosols and gels only in containers of 100ml or less, all fitting into one transparent re-sealable 20cm x 20cm bag, maximum 1,000ml total per passenger.
