Emirates hand luggage rules

• Economy Class: one piece of carry-on baggage, max 55 x 38 x 22 cm and 7 kg. Emirates does not list a separate free personal item for Economy.
• Premium Economy: one piece, same 55 x 38 x 22 cm, but 10 kg.
• Business and First Class: two pieces - one briefcase (max 45 x 35 x 20 cm) plus either one handbag (max 55 x 38 x 22 cm) or one garment bag (max 20 cm thick when folded). Each piece max 7 kg, combined max 14 kg.
• Customers boarding in India (Economy and Premium Economy only): one piece, total dimensions max 115 cm (length + width + height). First and Business are excluded from this restriction.
• All flights departing Brazil: up to 10 kg of cabin baggage in every class.
• Infants in all cabin classes: one carry-on bag for inflight food and disposable items, max 5 kg and 55 x 38 x 22 cm. One carry-cot or one fully collapsible stroller may also be brought into the cabin if there is room.
• Duty free purchases are permitted in reasonable quantities, subject to airport security screening restrictions.
• Emirates publishes cm as the primary figure and gives inches in brackets (55 x 38 x 22 cm = 21.6 x 14.9 x 8.6 in).
• Emirates does not state on this page whether wheels and handles are included in the measurement.

Liquids

All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in containers of no more than 100 ml, placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag not exceeding one litre in capacity.
