Flying from Bangkok? Here is what Suvarnabhumi Airport states about liquids and electronics in hand luggage.
100 ml limit
Each container must be 100 ml or less, with a total of no more than 1,000 ml in one transparent resealable bag of about 20 cm by 20 cm. Separate that bag and your laptop from the rest of your things and put them in the trays.

What this means at Suvarnabhumi Airport
- Airport states: each LAGs container must not exceed 100 ml (or 100 grams or 3.4 oz).
- Total LAGs volume must not exceed 1,000 ml per passenger, in one transparent resealable plastic bag of up to 1 litre, suggested size 20 cm x 20 cm; one bag per passenger.
- Passengers must separate the containers or the transparent bag from other belongings for the screener to inspect.
- Airports of Thailand instructs passengers with laptops, jackets and zip-lock liquid bags to separate them and put them in the trays.
- Medications are exempt with a medical certificate, label or accompanying document.
- Baby food, including formula and milk for infants, is exempt.
- Duty-free liquids must be in sealed security tamper-evident bags (STEBs) with no sign of having been opened; transit and transfer passengers should check the rules at their destination airport with the duty-free shop.
- E-cigarettes and vaping devices are illegal to import into Thailand and carry heavy fines.
