Flying from Frankfurt am Main? Here is what Frankfurt Airport states about liquids and electronics in hand luggage.
Up to 2 litres
At most Terminal 1 checkpoints and all Terminal 3 checkpoints Frankfurt's CT scanners let you carry liquids in containers up to 2 litres and leave liquids and laptops inside your hand luggage, with no transparent bag needed. A handful of older checkpoints still run the 100 ml rule.

What this means at Frankfurt Airport
- Airport's own wording at CT checkpoints: passengers "may carry liquids of up to 2 liters" and "Packing them in a transparent, resealable bag is not required."
- "Electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, or cameras can also remain in your hand luggage."
- Exception - traditional checkpoints at gates C1, C2, C4 and C6 and in the transfer areas: "liquids may only be carried in individual containers of up to 100 ml, packed in a transparent, resealable plastic bag with a total capacity of up to 1 liter."
- Duty-free liquids must stay in the sealed tamper-evident bag (ICAO STEB) with the receipt showing date and place of purchase.
