• Airport states: 'Passengers are permitted to carry liquids, aerosols, pastes and gels in resealable containers of up to 2 litres each in their carry-on baggage.'
• Airport states: 'Shannon Airport has used advanced C3 X-ray technology since 2021, allowing passengers to keep liquids and electronics in their carry-on bags during security screening.'
• Airport states: 'You do not need to place your liquids in a clear plastic bag or remove them from your luggage.'
• Airport states: 'There is no requirement to remove liquids or electrical items including laptops from your cabin bags.'
• Shoes or boots above the ankle, and any footwear with thick soles, must be removed.
• Hoodies, cardigans, jackets and jumpers must be removed; light jewellery and glasses may be left on.
• The airport warns there may still be a 100ml restriction and plastic bag requirement at other airports on your trip, including transit and return flights.
• External medical devices: tell a staff member; private screening is available in a private search room.
