Delta Air Lines hand luggage rules

• Delta publishes its carry-on limits in inches (22" x 14" x 9"), giving 56 x 35 x 23 cm as its own metric equivalent; the cm values in this record are converted from the published inches.
• Published measurements "include any handles or wheels".
• Combined length + width + height must not exceed 45 linear inches (114 cm).
• Delta does not publish maximum dimensions or a weight limit for the personal item - it only lists examples (purse, briefcase, small backpack, belt bag/fanny pack, camera bag, diaper bag, laptop bag or an item of similar or smaller size).
• No carry-on weight limit is stated on the carry-on baggage page.
• A bag or box of duty-free merchandise may be carried in addition to the standard allowance.
• Carry-on exceptions apply for passengers travelling with an infant-in-arms.
• On Delta Connection flights, including aircraft with 50 seats or fewer, only personal items may be carried on board.

Liquids

TSA 3-1-1: liquids, gels, aerosols and pastes limited to 3.4 ounces (100 ml) per container, all placed in one single quart-size clear plastic zip-top bag.
