What this means at Hamad International Airport

• Airport states: each liquid container must be 100 ml or less, packed in a clear, resealable plastic bag.
• Complimentary resealable bags are available at airport information desks.
• Transfer passengers: the clear resealable bag has a maximum capacity of 1 litre.
• Duty-free liquids over 100 ml bought at airports other than Hamad must be sealed in a security tamper-evident bag (STEB) with the receipt.

• The airport page does not state whether the liquids bag itself must be taken out of hand baggage, so liquids_in_bag_allowed is recorded as null.
• Airport prohibited list includes weapons, firearms and ammunition, alcoholic beverages, pork products and narcotic drugs.
• Qatar's Ministry of Public Health operates an electronic permit system covering around 140 controlled medicines that travellers must clear before arrival.
• Vaping devices and e-cigarettes are illegal to import into Qatar.
• The airport page does not mention e-cigarettes or medicine/prescription rules.
