Air Canada hand luggage rules

• Air Canada publishes in centimetres with inch equivalents: standard article 23 x 40 x 55 cm / 9 x 15.5 x 21.5 in; personal article 33 x 43 x 16 cm / 13 x 17 x 6 in. Values in this record are the published cm figures ordered largest to smallest.
• Published dimensions include wheels and handles.
• "No weight limit applies to carry-on baggage, but it must be light enough that you can store it in the overhead bin without assistance."
• Passengers travelling with a lap infant may bring 1 additional standard article for the child's belongings, such as a diaper bag.
• On an Economy Basic fare connecting onward to an international destination, one standard carry-on bag plus one personal item are allowed.
• Duty-free purchases should be made after passing the security checkpoint; avoid oversized containers when connecting without access to checked baggage.

Liquids

Liquids and gels in carry-on must be in containers of 100 mL/100 g (3.4 oz) or less.
