Finnair hand luggage rules
- Weight is a combined allowance, not per bag: 8 kg total for small bag plus carry-on in Economy and Premium Economy; 12 kg total in Business.
- With Light, Classic and Flex tickets in all travel classes you may take one small bag (40 x 30 x 15 cm) plus one carry-on bag (55 x 40 x 23 cm).
- Economy Superlight includes only one small bag placed under the seat.
- All tax-free purchases count toward the carry-on allowance; tax-free goods with the receipt must stay sealed in an airport security bag.
- Infants without a reserved seat do not have their own carry-on baggage allowance.
- Finnair does not state whether the published dimensions include wheels and handles.
Liquids
Liquid containers in carry-on baggage are restricted to a maximum of 100 ml at all European airports, including Helsinki Airport.
