SWISS hand luggage rules
- Economy Basic (short/medium-haul): 1 personal item only.
- Economy Light and Comfort (short/medium-haul): 1 personal item + 1 carry-on bag.
- Premium Economy (long-haul): 1 personal item + 1 carry-on bag.
- Business (all haul lengths) and First (long-haul): 1 personal item + 2 carry-on bags.
- A foldable garment bag of max. 57 x 54 x 15 cm and 8 kg counts within the allowance.
- Duty-free purchases do not count as an additional baggage item.
- Per infant, either a baby carry cot or a child seat is carried free, plus 1 foldable pushchair (pocket buggy).
- No weight limit is published for the personal item.
Liquids
At most airports, containers of max. 100 ml carried in a resealable transparent plastic bag of max. 1 litre; for departures from Zurich Airport, containers of up to 2 litres are permitted.
